Working with and for older people in Bournemouth
We work with older people in Bournemouth and the surrounding area, including Poole, Christchurch, and East Dorset. However services in areas other than Bournemouth maybe limited.
Opening hours
9.30 am - 4 pm Monday - Friday
Outside of our opening hours and during busy periods we operate an answerphone service.
Fundraiser
Salary £19,370 FTE (£7853 actual)

We are looking for an exceptional person to work with us to raise our income levels, and to establish a sustainable pattern of fundraising. Successful and experienced you will work with corporate donors and individuals alike. You will be a team player, able to work on your own and have flexible working hours.
Finance Officer
Salary £19,370 FTE (£7853 actual)
15 hours per week
We require a suitably qualified (AAT or similar) person to undertake all aspects of bookkeeping and preparing monthly management accounts for trustees. You will be self motivated, experienced with Sage line 50, payroll, VAT and familiar with both full cost recovery budgeting and multi cost centre reporting.
Age Concern Bournemouth is a local independent charity working on behalf of older people in the town.

Age Concern Bournemouth, 700 Wimborne Road,
George Pilkington who was previously a Trustee of Age Concern Bournemouth has sadly died. George moved to a few years ago Manila to be near his family. He passed away peacefully on the 24th January 2010.
George will be remembered for the WWII memoirs he wrote for the Age Concern Bournemouth Grapevine magazine. George was a charming funny man who will be sadly missed.
